ive been playing here for about a year, it’s quite active and i’ve met a lot of really cool people :D

An aged Warden is starting to feel the ‘terminal’ effects of the tainted blood; the call of the darkspawn mind and the distant voices of the still slumbering Old Gods.     Quick-link to high-res fullview is here. Exactly what the Warden’s last statement means or implies is up to you to decide—is it a literal statement, or a roundabout way of staying he’s not afraid to die but afraid to die alone? Who knows. This stupid comic broke my hand. Pretty Zevran and cheesy dialogue broke my hand. Ow. 8| there’s just something about a character with naturally long hair getting even longer—usually braid-length—to indicate the progression of time, those little changes, framing the periods in their lives with specific visual cues, that always gets me. and i love it on zevran. i didn’t know i needed older!zevran with braid-length hair until today, but now it’s going to be a thing forever. the weariness in cousland’s big, heavy shoulders in that first panel, the expression on zevran’s face in the second to last, and that kiss—how familiar they are with each other by now, yet how capable they are of feeling every pang of grief and urgency, as though the love itself is still brand new, all the comfort of the years melting into something sharp and immediate and needy… the way teapirate captures these two, in every soft touch and stubbled shadow and pinched brow, makes me fall in love with them all over again. (also, older!zevran with long hair needs to join up with older!anders with long hair—can’t you see him with a braid? because now i am picturing it and adoring it—and they need to talk aching for years and heroes and champions and tight, handsome little vests with rolled up shirt-sleeves…)

The best dwarf in the game, right after Oghren. Oh, little Dagna, are you me? I just. This girl is so sweet and cute and well-meaning, and motherfucking finally someone who wants to write about magic from an outside perspective. The mages and templars are too close to the issue of magic to see it clearly. A dwarf, though? Dwarves know where it’s at.
